Project Management Support Specialist
Front Office and Sales & Catering TRAINING SPECIALIST
Northwind is seeking an ambitious sales professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background with at least 3 years quality experience in a junior to intermediate level sales and marketing position and a history of securing prospects for cultivation to sales department activity. Primarily, the position will consist of coordinating and maintaining effective lead qualifying and sales prospecting procedures. Assist sales and marketing activities that ensure achievement of strategic revenue objectives by compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, dealer resellers, referrals, website and other sources. You will be required to make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email and gather information to sell products and services. You will handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales. Write and prepare effective professional looking sales documents, letters and campaigns including but not limited to RFPs, sales reports, introduction letters etc. Research strategic information on the internet and provide support to the sales/marketing team. You should be a multi-task oriented individual and have the drive to achieve targets in order to succeed in this role. Full training and an attractive bonus remuneration package is offered.
Requirements:
· 3+ years previous sales assistance and marketing experience within a hotel software sales/marketing and/or hotel sales/marketing environment
· excellent prospecting and interpersonal relationship skills
· excellent communication/written skills as well as presentation skills, and the ability to understand technical issues and articulate industry operational/technical solutions to prospects and in marketing materials. (with training)
· Must be PC literate using Windows and proficient on MS suite of products (office; powerpoint; outlook; excel) as well as knowledge of office software programs including, Adobe Acrobat, database/contact management programs, graphic programs and fax programs. (and ability to learn others quickly)
· Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills with an eye for high-impact document layout. Forward thinking, creative and positive attitude.
· Flexible team player and ability to interact with all personalities. Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Experience in web design/development at a junior level to maintain and change web site presence and content
· Previous experience with Property Management and/or Sales & Catering Systems extremely valuable.
Project Management Support Specialist
Northwind is seeking an ambitious professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background with at least 3 years quality experience in a junior to intermediate level hotel operations position and a history of supporting a team with high departmental activity. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide project management assistance during implementation of Northwind products at new client properties. This includes direct communication with client executives and personel, supervision and maintenance of organized timeline schedules, followup with internal contacts and staff. Other responsibilities include record keeping and filing of the appropriate project implementation documentation and liasion with partners and vendors involved in project implementation. Report to and provide administrative assistance to the Manager, New Client Implementations, prepare and send out Welcome Letter and all required project documents and follow up as per procedures. Follow-up on project items to ensure completion of items and the meeting of deadlines while co-ordinating with all involved team members on any related issues. Perform new duties and tasks as the requirements evolve in order to provide quality project management services.

Achieves sales quota by developing new US and national accounts. Responsible for meeting sales goals by landing accounts that will buy software, training and support, making presentations and demonstrating software to customers which requires 30% travel (primarily domestic). Must be effective in working client accounts by utilizing the existing Northwind sales teams, outlining account objectives, communicating effectively and acting as an account quarterback. Create proposals to reflect customers needs and to establish customer advocacy. Qualified candidates must have 3+ years previous sales experience within a software sales or hotel sales environment. Must have excellent communication skills as well as presentation skills, and the ability to understand technical issues and articulate technical solutions.
The
successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the following
areas and preferably experience in the hotel or travel industry.
- Any PMS (property management system) working experience.
- Experience in hotel operations is required.
- End user support in a help-desk environment, preferably in a call center
- After hours pager support (on rotation) and ability to do shift work
- Limited travel is required when supporting our clients on-site. Daily duties
include client support, and assisting Maestro Support Supervisor in
resolving client application support issues. Previous experience in Maestro PMS will bring a candidate to the forefront for selection.

Front Office and Sales & Catering TRAINING SPECIALIST
We currently require software trainers seeking full-time, permanent employment to join our team in the role of Front Office and Sales & Catering TRAINING SPECIALIST.
Job Requirements:
The
successful candidates must have a minimum of 4 years working experience in the
hotel industry including experience with Front Office and Sales & Catering
software. Training and computer experience are mandatory. Frequent travel is
involved in this position as we train our clients on-site. When not traveling,
daily duties include customer/client support, software testing and
documentation. A background in writing or technical documentation will bring a
candidate to the forefront for selection.
