It is available as a stand alone application or as a fully integrated module with the Maestro Property Management Suite. The NORTHWIND Sales and Catering system utilizes the familiar Windows operating system for ease of use by all staff members.

Booking and Function Room Blocking

Whether your bookings are simple one-day functions, or complex affairs with multiple days and events in separate rooms, Maestro Sales and Catering can effortlessly handle the job. Function room booking is completely automated with no limits on future dates. Easy to understand and use availability display charts allow your team to set up multiple recurring events quickly. The system can create detailed quotations without affecting live inventory, and Maestro™ Sales & Catering even automates off-premises catering functions for the ultimate in event scheduling flexibility.

Function Space Graphical Layout

Maestro Sales & Catering integrates the Room Viewer graphic layout software from TimeSaver Software to create event layouts that will dazzle your clients. Room Viewer is intuitive software for Meeting Planners, Facilities, Caterers, Special Event Planners, Rental Companies, Production and Audio Visual Companies. Using one of the three Room Viewer products (Basic, Standard, Pro & Deluxe) with Maestro Sales and Catering you will be able to create diagrams of inside, outside, and even tented events for your clients. Room Viewer software is easy to use and provides a professional tool to enhance your client presentations and service delivery.

Event Planning and Tracking

Eliminate the "last minute crunch." Maestro’s Event Planning and Tracking module provides an easy foolproof way for staff to create events and serve clients more professionally. Tools include options for setting up menus and special services, and the system links activities to time-sensitive reminders that keep your staff on task so there is no 'last minute crunch'. The system automatically generates to-do lists, as well as cut-off dates and contract-review reminders. Maestro Sales & Catering will also prompt your staff to verify deposit receipts on the days you designate so clients are contacted on time and your receivables may be kept current.

Delegate Management

Maestro Sales & Catering System’s Delegate Management module allows your staff to effortlessly organize all aspects of group event registration. The system automates name tracking for each event or convention, tracks fees collected on-site and prior to the event, and even prints tickets and name badges to streamline the entire registration process.

Time Tracking, Charges, Costs and Changes

Maintain your operation’s profitability by tracking costs, phone charges, and time spent for all booked events. Maestro’s Sales & Catering system keeps logs on all staff and consultant activity, and automatically posts billable phone call charges for each activity into the event folio. The system also posts invoices to the accounts receivable system for billing and aging so all possible revenue is captured. Changes to all events are tracked in detail and the appropriate staff member is automatically notified to maximize efficiency and service.

Client and Contact Management

Now you can link multiple contacts, each one with multiple attributes, to accounts so good communications between the hotel’s sales staff and their accounts is ensured. Maestro™ Sales & Catering also accepts unlimited notes and generates complete history and numerous detailed statistical reports for all accounts while continuously monitoring time sensitive activities to form a safety net that captures all deliverables for every account.

Security Authorization

The financial and contact details of all accounts are protected by Maestro access control security. The Sales & Catering system lets you assign authorized permission by individuals and job titles to access your high profile accounts; likewise account access is restricted from all unauthorized system users.

Reporting, Management Tools, and Interfaces

There is no need to rely on expensive pre-printed forms with Maestro. The system automatically generates customized contracts, invoices, confirmations, and liquor permits for all your property’s events. Fax and email output are both integrated to allow contracts to be quickly sent to clients. A full portfolio of reports is standard in Maestro Sales & Catering for automated distribution and to allow hardcopy tracking for file folders and corporate reporting. For speed and convenience, all reports may also be viewed on screen.
