Northwind's introduction of the Maestro™ product suite, designed to serve virtually any type of hospitality and lodging operation from full service to limited service establishments. Optimum levels of operational efficiency are provided with seamless integration between application modules and standard office productivity tools. The utilization of advance design and development techniques and input sessions from users and hospitality professionals allowed Northwind to introduce an outstanding functional tool that supports the needs of staff and management to provide attentive service to guests and groups.

The Maestro suite includes Front Office, Sales and Catering, Accounts Receivable, Club/Spa Management, Yield Management, Internet Reservation, Corporate Enterprise - Realtime, Report Writer and Work Order Maintenance.

Integrated Real-time Operations

Seamless integrated operations with real-time processing is a reality within all of the product suites. As part of the integration, application modules share a common database and a common library of functions to eliminate any duplication of data elements and processing functions. Real-time processing eliminates unnecessary delays in information exchange. Now management and staff from all departments can view and take action on the same information with security access being the only limiting factor.

Common Database

Efficient utilization of information is now a simple task. Staff and management can access information to produce standard and consolidated analysis reports using familiar office productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, etc). As part of the software design process, Northwind staff have specifically taken steps to structure and prepare the information in detail for ease of access by standard office productivity tools. Information analysis can be done in a myriad of ways and can change as required to provide management with accurate information to make decisions that affect the bottom line.

Management Facilities

Management is provided with special functions and features to plan and implement directives for the future and react quickly to unexpected opportunities when they present themselves. These functions and features include rate overrides and availability, yield optimization criteria, function oriented messaging and special analysis reports.

Unique User Interface

An efficient and easy to learn user interface is achieved via special adaptation of standard technologies available to hospitality operations. Information is presented on clear screens with attention highlights clearly identified. Extended information and functionality is only one keystroke/click away via data fields which may be activated in any sequence required. To allow maximum efficiency, all operations may be initiated via a keyboard, a function key, and/or point and click device. Staff may now operate multiple application modules with ease and significantly reduce training time.
